Quick thought on Jeff Fisher...
He was let go today by the Tennesee Titans after 16 years as the head coach of the Titans/Oilers. I have a great amount of respect for Fisher and I think that not only is he a good guy but a very good coach. But why is everyone acting like this guy has ever won a thing? Besides one AFC championship in 16 years, Fisher has won nothing. He's only had 6 winning seasons in his tenure. That is not impressive at all. Granted he's been competing against Peyton Manning and Co. for the last decade but I think its safe to say that the Titans (aside from the Music City Miracle) have been a disappointment. Fisher would be a great addition to the staff of many teams and I'm sure he can still be a successful coach in this league, but lets not act like he's a great coach and that the next team he takes over is on their way to the big dance.
