Muse wont be playiing Origin of Symmetry songs live anymore

I don't know what the hell these guys are thinking. According to an article at ultimate-guitar.com, Muse, the heavy-weight rock band from the UK will hang up the cleats on their first major hit (2nd overall) album, Origin of Symmetry. Apparently, after the upcoming concert at Reading, they will no longer play material from this album.

Origin of Symmetry is arguable their best album and contains some of their most exciting live songs (i.e. New Born above.) It also contains Bliss, Plug in Baby and Space Dementia among others. It's not like Muse has been in the game so long that these songs no longer hold up. This is not like Radiohead not playing Creep at concerts...that song was so overplayed I understand why they got sick of playing it. None of these songs were hits like "Creep" and the are all more fun to play.

Unfortunately, the main stream American audience just found out about Muse after they released their most commercial and worst album, "The Resistance." I hate when bands start catering to the mainstream...it makes their music terrible. (Green Day and Kings of Leon's latest efforts can attest to that) But at least those bands still play their good songs at concerts. I think that Muse fans will start leaving their concert more and more disappointed when an entire slew of their best songs are removed from the set list.
